WIDE OPEN WALLS – Gambia

Last Friday a group of a select group of artists consisting of Eelus, Xenz, Logan Hicks, Lucy Mclachlan, Mysterious Al and Bushdwellers headed of to Africa to partake in a very exciting project.

The project is called Wide Open Walls and has been curated by Eelus, the objective being to transform the village of Kubuneh with paint with the hope of increasing tourism to the village and with that increased prosperity and sustainability to the area.

Tomorrow evening sees the opening of Eelus first solo show, ‘Electrik Eel’ at Newcastle’s Electrik Sheep gallery.

Should be lots of new goodies on offer plus the release of his new print, ‘Raven Haired’, so get there if you can.  For those of you who can’t make it the work available will also be going up on-line at www.electriksheep.co.uk at 6pm tomorrow.
