We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Art-el’s newest recruit, Illjoseph.
We are excited to introduce this hot young prospect who is currently making waves, bringing to it a wide range of unique, original works in a medley of mediums and styles. Born in Gosport but now living & working in Brighton he’s as content skating as he is painting and is a major player in the Southsea skate scene. You can find a great interview in the latest online publication of http://www.tweakerzine.com/#joe
We really do think that this guy is something else, so check out his work at http://www.art-el.co.uk and if what we have isn’t enough for you then be sure to check out his website to http://www.illjoseph.co.uk
Two more Art-el artists both living & working in Brighton are busy bees at the moment with Ben Allen currently enjoying a successful show at the Ink’d Gallery in Brighton & Pam Glew has her first solo London show opening on the 5th of March at the wonderful Stella Dore Gallery.
There are still a few Richt prints up for grabs, don’t miss out on this little bargain, get on line and get yours now.
Here at Art-el we do appreciate that these are pretty tough times at the moment, if there is something that takes your fancy on the site but just can’t afford to purchase it outright, please don’t be shy, contact us at email@example.com and we are sure that we can come to an arrangement.
For those of you in or around Bristol, don’t forget to check out The Friend & Co Gallery at 8 The Promenade, Gloucester Road, Bristol. Mr Jago’s solo show opened there this week and if you are a fan of his work then you have to go and check it out. He has painted the whole shop and it looks “magical” as heard described on the opening night. The show can be viewed 24/7 as it will be lit at night offering the nicest vista into the world of Mr Jago’s work. The show closes on the 4th March.
A print is to be made from the painting and will be available to purchase soon at the gallery or on-line at http://friendandco.bigcartel.com. Also available is a one colour screen print in an edition of 15, priced at £40 and a tote bag printed with the same image priced at £12.
